We work to a standard, not a price, but we do understand that price is a very important factor. We are not the cheapest out there, nor the most expensive, but for value given, we do not believe our Company can be bettered by any other company.

We have always had a “tell it like it is” approach, and we bring that with us into Canada and carpet cleaning.

Originally from Britain, we arrived in Canada in June of 2000. Back in the UK we were always involved in the service industry, whether it was helping people to move within the UK and abroad or assisting them with funeral arrangements (we owned a small funeral service in the village of Sixpenny Handley in the County of Dorset). A very small business and emotionally rewarding work.

In Red Deer we owned a retail business for a little while but that business was not for us. We lost everything we came to Canada with and would probably have returned to the UK if we could have afforded the flights. A close friend suggested we stay and re-build our lives, and that’s what we did.

The person that maintained our floors in that Store asked what I intended to do and frankly, I didn’t know. He suggested coming on board with him and take up carpet cleaning. So I did.

After learning the ropes I was put out on my own and found the job really rewarding. I loved it. Traveling around, meeting new folks every day, and in a very small way, making a difference.

After some time my boss and I parted company (Rick, my ex boss was my closest friend in Canada, he passed away recently and I just want to say thanks for all your help and encouragement Rick, I really do miss our chats) and I went out on my own with Action Cleaning Solutions in Sylvan Lake. I spread out to cover Red Deer and that was when I was asked to take over Sea Breeze carpet and upholstery cleaning in Sylvan Lake. Knowing from experience what a great reputation this business had, I jumped at the chance. Then exactly the same thing happened with White Knight from Lacombe and Red Deer; I could not believe my luck.

Both these businesses and my own were built on the same philosophy and that is to provide an exceptional professional carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning service at a reasonable price. When I think back to my funeral business I know I was always charging less than my competitors but the service my clients received was worth twice what my competitors charged.

I have tried to bring that with me into the professional carpet cleaning business.
